Happy Birthday Old Man!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!
I remember all of the times when I was little that you played games with me on the living room floor after you got home from work or pushed me on the wooden swing. Or when you played records on your stereo for us to dance to in the living room. Remember? I liked picking up all the walnuts in the back yard together, going on backroad drives as a family, and sharing peanuts in the shell as a special treat while we watched Rags to Riches. Thanks for coming to pick me up when I was in High School and my car would die, no matter what time of day or night! Thanks for always leaving the kitchen light on. Thanks for coming to my sports games in High School and College just to see the last few minutes of the game after you worked your second job. I knew you would be at the hospital for the births of Emerson and Ida no matter what, even though childbirth makes you faint. Thanks for wearing your loafers everywhere, they make me smile. Thanks for never holding a grudge when I was a little unfriendly in my school years. I hope our kids get that from you. You are a really good grandpa and we love you!
