If you want some really tasty doughnuts, you have to go to Uncle John's Cider Mill. Josh and I secretly shared a few delicious pastries while the kids slurped their cider. I know, it sounds selfish, but it's not. For some reason the doughnuts make Ida throw up. This is a tested theory, we have the nasty memories to prove it.:) So we decided to forgo creating anymore and have the kids just stick to their cider. We had a great time riding the train, the horse drawn wagon, eating our picnic lunch, and rummaging in the pumpkins. Emerson took the laid back approach to the pumpkins, as you can see in the pictures. Ida touched every one, examining every crevice, like she was queen of the pumpkin patch.

On the was home from the Cider Mill, the kids made their best Halloween faces. What do you think? Are they scary? We thought they were pretty silly.
